Treasurer's Report
Andrea presented the treasurer's report. There was no hard copy to hand out.

We currently have balances of $8,694. High School $5,192. Middle School

There is a balance of $200.00 for players on the middle school team and arrangements have been made to collect this money.

At the High School level there is one player that has not paid and is now ineligible until full payment is made. One of the scholarships that was approved will not be needed because the player is not skating due to academics.

We have fewer players than was used to determine the original budget due to academic performance. Several of those players on academic probation have not paid their full assessment.

The treasures report was unanimously approved.

Coach's Reports
High School
Jackets and Team Bags - Brad presented a proposal that we purchase Jackets at $45 each and Hockey bags at $70.00 each. These would be considered team equipment and would be turned in at the end of each season. If a player wishes to purchase their bag and jacket, they may do so. The total for the jackets would be approximately $1,200 and the bags would be approximately $1,700. There was no action taken on this and it was tabled for a future meeting pending a financial review.

Missing Jerseys - Brad is still missing jerseys from the following players. Dillon Conaway, Jamie Hathaway, Mat Deister and Trevor Capps. The Athletic Directors have been notified. A proposal was made that next year it be considered that a check would have to be given for the uniform and it would be returned when the uniform was returned at the end of the season. If the uniform is not returned, the check will be cashed to purchase a new one. Mike is going to contact the legion to see if they will help pay for the jackets. Athletic Boosters - Brad is still trying to get some involvement with the Athletic Boosters in Gray. He has not been successful. The Poland Boosters will only provide support for Poland players. Each team would have their own account for fund raising.

Yearbook Pictures.
Brad will make time available for yearbook pictures to be taken for both Gray and Poland.

Transportation
Next Year, Brad is going to see if transportation can pick up in Poland and then proceed to Gray to pick up Gray players. With fewer high school players in Poland, transportation is becoming a problem.

Varsity Christmas Tournament
Fryeburg has dropped out. A decision has been made not to invite any academies because of the problems that Fryeburg had last year. Some of the game times have changed.

Players
The High School is down to 16 players. We are having a new player join the team. Joe Rokowski from Portland will be returning to Gray.

Sponsors
The sponsor that had previously committed will not be providing a scholarship. Brad said that it is due to procrastination from the board. Andrea claims that she was never given the name to contact.

Penalties
There is a new rule this year that if a player has 5 penalties in a game, they will sit out the next game.

Help with Clock and Gate
Trecia has been giving community service hours for high school students that help with these tasks.

Middle School
Protocol for cancelled games - David said that they have a phone tree that is working well.

Coaches Certification
We have two level three coaches (Mark Roy and David Van Wie). Scott Michaud is level 1. Jeff Trickey has level 1 and might have gotten level 2 by now. The board unanimously approved Jeff and Scott to continue coaching on ice at practices but they will not be able to sit on the bench during games. Players - The middle school is also down in numbers. There are 9 players on each team plus the goalie. David is working with a student from the Opportunity Farm that has just received a foster placement in Kennebunk. David is working with the foster parents to try to allow this student continue to skate with the Gray team through the season. There are not enough players and David feels that the rules for moving players up and down to A and B teams are hurting teams like ours.

Public Forum
At this point there was a breakdown in communication and no further minutes were taken.

The meeting adjourned at 9:00 pm.

The next meeting is scheduled for January 18th in the Gray/New Gloucester Library. The primary focus of this meeting will be for nominations of new board members.
